SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is actually alarmed concerning the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area daily. The support point established for intervention activities a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all customers and enhance entry to website Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
